Paddle Steamer Cruise to the Czech Republic
| Description: | Come aboard one of our elegant steamers for an impressive all day cruise to the Czech Republic and scenic North Bohemia. From Saxon Switzerland the paddler navigates upriver to Bohemian Switzerland, passing the castle town of Děčín before eventually reaching the industrial city of Ústí nad Labem, right below the mighty Schreckenstein fortress. The steamer then performs a unique turning maneuver by twice passing through the massive river locks at the foot of the fortress. A variety of regional specialties and Czech beers are served to you onboard. |
